this is a comic. it provides a healthy does of minimalist theater for the insane.
these comics are by matthew stern. to contact one matthew stern with your comments, questions, or anything in between, please e-mail matthew stern at acheaphappiness@hotmail.com.
In the interest of not effing up everyone's friends lists who wants to read the strip regularly, I'm putting new comics behind an LJ cut, and then when the next strip goes up, taking the cut off of the previous one. The end result? A neat archive of comics available for your perusal here on the livejournal without having to worry about your most recent friends page looking all jacked up. I hope that works.
If you're into what you see here, spread the word to any other folks who might enjoy this sort of free associative depravity.
Feel free to discuss the most riveting and compelling elements of each strip in the comments section of the posts, in the same spirit that you might discuss your favorite work of art, or the aroma of a fine wine, or the aroma of a fine work of art, if you're that kind of sicko.

if you're bored and diggin' the strip, click on this little button here and it counts as a vote for A Cheap Happiness on the Top Web Comics website.
